US OPEN!!!!

I was recently in San Diego and we knew that the US Open was being held in Torrey Pines, which was just about 15 mins from where we were staying. My Cousin, and Aunt thought that we would just get out and walk around, although tickets had been sold out for ever....Sure enough we were approached by a "gentleman" who had 3 extras and was looking to sell...

Well we bought and got inside and were able to walk around and actually saw the 18th hole...

Now, do I know golf, NO...Did I see anyone famous, I DON'T KNOW...
But I would have known Tiger and had I sat in the same place for an hour I could have, but didn't.....

It is fun, and a beautiful place to see, and to be apart of that atmosphere was amazing.......

I think that I will become a new golf fan, but good to know, I don't have to start this season, since Tiger is out,,,,,,and yes I just read that!!!

All Stars

Did I ever think that parents were cool who decorated there cars and wear the matching t-shirts????? OMG!!! I am my mother and let me tell you it is GREAT!!!! I hope that the Girls All Stars have a great tournament weekend and I don't know when it happened that all of the sudden think it is cool to drive a suburban with the windows all painted up....but let me tell you.......THIS IS THE NEW COOL!! and I wouldn't trade it for the world!! Go SLATON!!!

I must say how this picture came about.....My dear friend Kenda has started a new job and we text ------ALOT!!-----Well, if anything interesting is happening we will send a pic...
I have not tanned one time in about 10 years, and with all of the wind, I deceided I would take advantage of going one time--without paying! Your first time is free deal...so I have gone 2 times now, different places---without paying!!
So, let me say,,,,I stayed in that tanning bed a long time...taking self portraits and texting......it is hard to see through those goggles......

Things I love about Spring

I was supposed to blog about things that I love about Spring about a month ago. I really like spring, just never got to blogging about it. I will have to check and see if there is some other topic I have missed.....

1. The beautiful weather, even if we are not getting any rain.
2. The flowers and trees blooming.
3. Playing Spring tennis, although we are halfway though our season and I am not doing so well.
4. Cooking outside and having friends over.
5. Shopping all the sales, when spring actually arrives almost all the spring clothes are on sale, so that they can get ready for the summer stuff.
6. Knowing that school is almost out and that we have a great summer ahead of us.
7. It is one season closer to fall, -----that is my FAVORITE season!!!
8. Time change, I like having the longer days.
9. Blowing wind and orange skies!!! haha....just kidding, but we ought to love it since we have so much of it....
10. I guess I don't have ten!!

Buffalo Hunting

This weekend Chip, Emi and I are in Oklahoma and we took emi to the Wichita Mountain Reserve and went looking for Buffalo. It was such a good time. We drove for 15 miles and had turned around and as I looked to the right, saw a buffalo about 4 feet from the road. Yeah, it was so fun to see and Emi loved it!!

I am back!!

Thanks for all of the negative posts about me not posting in so long!! Well, I am going to start back.. I have got some of the more recent pics of things that have been happening, but have a ton of the wedding that we are just returning from. It was just about the most beautiful and fun wedding I have ever been apart of!! It will take me a bit to go through all the phots and get some posted!! Congratulations to our Great Friends Melissa and Randy who have just tied the knot!!! We love you guys!
