Things I love about Spring

I was supposed to blog about things that I love about Spring about a month ago. I really like spring, just never got to blogging about it. I will have to check and see if there is some other topic I have missed.....

1. The beautiful weather, even if we are not getting any rain.
2. The flowers and trees blooming.
3. Playing Spring tennis, although we are halfway though our season and I am not doing so well.
4. Cooking outside and having friends over.
5. Shopping all the sales, when spring actually arrives almost all the spring clothes are on sale, so that they can get ready for the summer stuff.
6. Knowing that school is almost out and that we have a great summer ahead of us.
7. It is one season closer to fall, -----that is my FAVORITE season!!!
8. Time change, I like having the longer days.
9. Blowing wind and orange skies!!! haha....just kidding, but we ought to love it since we have so much of it....
10. I guess I don't have ten!!

Buffalo Hunting

This weekend Chip, Emi and I are in Oklahoma and we took emi to the Wichita Mountain Reserve and went looking for Buffalo. It was such a good time. We drove for 15 miles and had turned around and as I looked to the right, saw a buffalo about 4 feet from the road. Yeah, it was so fun to see and Emi loved it!!

I am back!!

Thanks for all of the negative posts about me not posting in so long!! Well, I am going to start back.. I have got some of the more recent pics of things that have been happening, but have a ton of the wedding that we are just returning from. It was just about the most beautiful and fun wedding I have ever been apart of!! It will take me a bit to go through all the phots and get some posted!! Congratulations to our Great Friends Melissa and Randy who have just tied the knot!!! We love you guys!

Patrick Swazy was there!!! Not really, he was just across from us, but lordy, lordy...that guy had the Dirty Dancing thing going on!! YIKES!!!!

Did anyone watch the first season of the Bad Girls Club....this is Deann.. She is super cute and super fun, but just meeting someone that you have already been watching on TV is weird!!!. Her season is the one with the Crazy Zara and that mean girl with the black hair Amy...Come to find out, Amy is not all that mean. All the times where I used to think I might like to go on a reality tv show, I am certain that I would NOT!!!!

Emi and I joined about 300-500 other Slatonites through the streets of Slaton!! It is was a chilly cold morning but what a great turn out and a huge fun time.

Eater Sunday

I hope that they always love to dress the same. Julia got to pick the dresses and Emi was so happy that they had one for her!!! And every girl needs a hat!!!

Julia and the Longhorns

These guys showed up to show a little support Julia's way!! She is becoming quite a good basketball player and even made the All Star Team!!! GO JULES!!!!!

This was really tough for our family!! When Julia got picked for her team we were thrilled with the coach and the kids...what is really tough is that they were the Longhorns!!! YIKES!! Well, we show support for these longhorns, but thank goodness, this team is over!!
